Youth, Are You Preparing for Your Divorce? From this book, I read, let me impart, a true story, as told, of a newly wed couple, one new family, one soon to be blessed with a baby, one soon to be threatened to yet another tragic marital disaster - divorce.

The unexpected

The wife had recently uncovered that her husband had not long after their marriage found his attention turned to another woman.

So tragic, because

1. Both were godly Christians,
2. Both were witnesses of the marriage divorces of each of their parents during their separate childhood,
3. Both were intelligent students in their college days, who knew that statistics showed that youngsters who originated from broken homes were themselves more inclined to have divorced marriages,
4. Both were sincere Christians who decided that they would be extremely cautious in getting ready for marriage,
5. Both used hours together examining the Scripture and advice from others on issues of marriage relationship,
6. Both assured the other that nothing would break their loyalty in marriage.

It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. Matthew 5:31-32
